CHAOS STRIKES IN THE FOOTBALL BETTING MARKET AND WOOD GETS A SIX YEAR FOOTBALL BAN



Following the rulings of an FA Tribunal, Former Lincoln City defender; Bradley Wood has been banned from football participation for a period of six years following confirmation of alleged breach of the 25 issues on Football integrity and betting rules in the Football Association.

Wood who now plays for Alfreton Town had denied charges of conspiracy to influence a football betting Market by deliberately earning two yellow cards in a last year’s action for Lincoln against Ipswich and Bumley.

In addition to the ban, Wood is to pay a fine of £ 3,725 and in addition another £1,550 as refund for bookings made in respect of the said match held last year; 2017.  

In total, the winnings on bets over wood being booked in both matches amounted to roughly £
10,000; with individuals having close personal involvement with Wood a majority on this list.

The football screen will definitely be seeing none of Bradley Wood until March, 2024.
